Ana Romm

My name is Ana Romm, and I’m a Victoria- and Montreal-based artist. I write indie folk songs that come straight from my heart to my voice to my guitar to your ears.

The songs I write highlight stages and moments of my life that feel pivotal. Some examples of themes I touch on are change, love, jealousy, and uncertainty. I explore my feelings through metaphors or sometimes through the rawest most honest forms of lyricism. I also often write songs that dig into different perspectives and angles.

It feels powerful and inspiring to get to play my songs, in hopes that the music will connect people to their own experiences and feelings. I have fallen in love with the creative process as well as the collaborative process. It is such a meaningful form of catharsis for me to write and perform my songs.
